The interview to select 10 students for the science Sakura Programme in Japan is schedule to be held on 29th March 2017 at Science Branch, Ministry of Education

            02        Sabaragamuwa Province        -           9.30 a.m – 10.00 a.m

            03        Northern Province                   -           10.00 a.m – 10.30 a.m

            04        North West. Province              -           10.30 a.m – 11.00 a.m

            05        North Central Province            -           11.00 a.m – 11.30 a.m

            06        Uva Province                           -           11.30 a.m – 12.00 m

            07        Eastern Province                     -           12.00 m – 12.30 p.m

            08        Southern Province                   -           1.30 p.m – 2.00 p.m

            09        Western Province                    -            2.00 p.m – 2.30 p.m

 

The students who are called for the interview should present at the interview in scheduled time with the relevant documents (Calling letters have been already sent)

  1. Curriculum Vitae of the student according to the given format and it should be certified by the principal

  2. Original and photocopies of the certificates should be certified by the principal

The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) in Japan has invited ten High School students to take part in the Sakura Science Programme which is scheduled to be held from 16th to 22nd July 2017 in Japan.


Those who obtained highest marks in G.C.E.A/L (Science Stream) (1st attempt) in year 2016 could send the applications for the above programme on or before 17th of March 2017, to reach the Science Branch , Ministry of Education.
