  • Providing the students with the technical skills needed for day to day life

  • Directing the students towards the professional education according to the national professional qualifications structure
   
Minimum qualifications required at the G.C.E. (O/L) to study technology subject stream  

To pass 06 core subjects including the Medium Language, Mathematics and Science at the G.C.E. (O/L) having credit passes at least for 03 subjects

  • Since 2016 the opportunities will be available for 2250 students to follow 28 courses in 13 universities. B.Sc. (Technology) will be awarded through it.
  • Possibility of entering to 25 university colleges that will be established in the island
  • Obtaining the certificate of G.N.N.Q.III and possibility of leaving the school as a skilled craftsman
  • Possibility of obtaining B-Tech degree from the Vocational Technology University of Rathmalana
