Convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Education held under the patronage of the Prime Minister
The convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Education was held recently (31) at the Bandaranayaka Memorial International Conference Hall. The Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasingha while participating in this ceremony as the chief guest delivered a special lecture on the future endeavours taken to bring about the positive changes in the field of education by the present government.
At this occasion, degrees of the National Institute of Education were conferred on 1478 people who followed the courses, Masters of Education Philosophy, Masters of Education, Masters of Education Management and Bachelor of Education.
A gathering of educationists including The Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the Secretary of Education Mr. Sunil Hettiarachchi and the Director General of the National Institute of Education Dr. Jayanthi Gunasekara was present at this ceremony.
